Research & Testing

    We are regularly approached by businesses that have a new concept they would like to explore or a new business model they feel might work online. Our approach allows us to test the viability of business concepts to demonstrate their potential payback.

We are able to do the following:
  • Determine the number of people searching for a particular product or service in markets across the world.
  • Assess whether searches for products and services are likely to grow or decline over time.
  • Predict the cost of bringing visitors to a site as part of a new campaign.
  • Predict the cost of acquiring a new customer or an enquiry. (CPA or Cost Per Acquisition Cost per Acquisition (of a customer or a lead))

We also use research to help shape the design of any new sites. For example in building a new website for our client Essentials London we have been able to influence the product range they should be stocking along with the category pages they need by understanding what products are being searched for on Google.

What do we look for?

We look at the following 3 factors to assess whether we think a business model will
work online:

  • High search volume.
  • High value or cash margin for the product or service being sold.
  • Competitive advantage for our client.
