Young people more willing to listen to web analytics advice 18/08/2010 Young entrepreneurs are more willing to welcome advice concerning web analytics.
Young entrepreneurs are more willing than their older counterparts to take advice over matters such as web analytics.

That is according to an article in the Sydney Morning Herald, which suggests that while it is often said that young people think they know everything, they are actually very willing to listen.

Advice can come in many forms, from business coaches to industry bodies and sector-leading companies.

It is suggested that the key area in which young businesspeople need to gain understanding is with regards to how best to turn a profit.

Kath Purkis, a 24-year-old entrepreneur and founder of online high fashion e-tailer Le Black Book, was case studied in the article and said to be in need to understanding the traffic movement on her site.

The news provider states: "Purkis needed to focus on … how to use data produced by Google Analytics."

A willingness to listen to experts, mixed with the advantages available via web analytics usage, young entrepreneurs could soon be teaching a thing or two to their older competitors.
