Web analytics help site enjoy 600% increase in traffic
Web analytics have played a significant role in helping boost traffic to a car sales site by 600 per cent.
USAVehicleFinder.com, a leading free classified car website, achieved a six-fold increase in visitor hits over a six month period.
Central to this achievement was web analytics, with the company able to use the data to reveal the popularity of the site to would-be vehicle sellers, leading to more postings, which in turn resulted in more consumer visits.
Terry Holbrook, director of USAVehicleFinder.com, said: "The consumer response to USAVehicleFinder.com is extremely exciting.
"The dramatic increase in vehicles listed on the site has driven more consumers to the web site and the increase in consumer traffic is driving more dealers to list their inventory on the site."
Web analytics reveal that consumers are spending 32 per cent longer browsing the website and visiting 26 per cent more pages while there.
