Website conversion champion named.
Google has announced the winner of its Conversion Champion Challenge, a competition set up to encourage firms to address website conversion rates.
Huseyin Tanrioven, of the Wall Street Institute in Turkey, won the award having demonstrated a significant improvement in conversation rates and associated ROI, reports the Google Conversion Room Blog.
His reward will be a trip to Google's offices in Zurich, where he will meet with the web-based company's Conversion Specialist team, from who he will be given extra advice and tips regarding conversion.
Speaking of the strategy employed, Mr Tanrioven told Google: "We conducted a deep-dive analysis to come up with a weighted attribution model so we could determine the real value of assist keywords, ad groups and campaigns by going deeper into the conversion path."
In the 28 days after their account overhaul, his team saw conversion rates increase by 54.5 per cent and CTRs improve by 10.5 per cent.
What is more, the cost per conversion decreased by 28.1 per cent.
