Surgery directory sees 270% rise in website conversion rate

An online directory of surgeons and doctors has seen its website conversion rate rise by nearly 300 per cent.
Web analytics reveals that Smartlipo.com experienced a 270 per cent increase in its conversion rate over a 19-month period.
The Chicago-based group make widespread changes to the website during the period, including the addition of a 3D video platform, which kept visitors engaged for longer periods of time.
Doug Wulff, founder of Moxe, which implemented the 3D video design, said that pursuing new clients through the internet was a natural and obvious step and one which should be maximised.
He said: "The internet is clearly a powerful medium to attract new patients.
"To win online, providers have to be visible to those looking for their services. You generate qualified traffic by combining search optimization, affiliate marketing, and your offline strategy."
