Google Analytics resolves problem
05/07/2010
A problem that affected Google Analytics is not ongoing.
Google has addressed a problem that affected its Analytics service recently, although it has indicated that the issue is not ongoing.
After a change was made, it appears that, last week, visit and campaign figures were processed incorrectly, meaning some reports may be missing data.
Although some data is still missing from between June 24th and 29th, the company has said that this will be reprocessed so that it is available by the week of July 12th.
In a post on the company's official blog, Trevor Claiborne from the Google Analytics team said: "The impact of the incorrect processing will vary by site. Sites that receive a large number of new visitors and new campaigns have been most affected.
"Again, we are reprocessing, and all reports will soon be corrected. We will update the blog once reprocessing has completed and data in all accounts is correct."
Earlier this year, Google Analytics announced widespread availability of universal availability of AdWords Search Funnels, offering better breakdowns of traffic and interaction.
