Google Analytics recommended by US government 18/02/2010 Google Analytics has been recommended by perhaps the highest authority of them all - the US federal government.
Anyone still not sure about how important Google Analytics could be to their online operations will be interested to know that it has been approved by the US federal government.

It is listed as one of the applications that federal services and agencies may want to use as it tries to encourage cloud computing across all departments.

Phil Mui, senior product manager at Google Analytics, believes the decision also shows that the service is secure and that the privacy of clients will not be undermined.

Writing on the Google Analytics blog, he added: "As an enterprise-class web analytics solution, Google Analytics not only provides site owners with information on their website traffic and marketing effectiveness, it also does so with high regard for protecting user data privacy."

Google recently expanded the service further by offering it in six new languages - Slovak, Bulgarian, Greek, Catalan, Lithuanian and Vietnamese - bringing the total number to 31.

According to recent study by Gartner, it currently has over one million users worldwide.ADNFCR-2626-ID-19622994-ADNFCR
