Businesses 'need to engage frequent converters' 28/01/2011 Companies that want to improve conversion rates should make sure they do not neglect those who frequently convert on their websites, it has been claimed.
Frequent converters are a valuable revenue stream for businesses and they should not neglect this demographic, it has been noted.

In an article for IT Business Edge, ChannelNet - a multichannel marketing organisation - pointed out that there are certain steps that companies should take to make sure that they are targeting those who frequently convert.

"Give them targeted rewards - these visitors are the most valuable and it pays to engage them more effectively," the experts stated.

The source went on to explain that there are also ways to improve conversion rates among those who use the site less often.

It is important to identify such consumers and give them "a more compelling offer", the organisation added.

Earlier this month, research published by Scout Analytics highlighted the need for businesses to identify frequent visitors to their website and target them, as they are considerably more likely to convert than others who visit the site only once or twice.
