Conversion Audits
Our conversion audits provide a comprehensive examination of how your website performs in various aspects of usability.
Each audit is bespoke to suit the client's needs. Audits are completed by Director level staff at Push. Conversion audits can cover the Home Page, Landing Pages, Lead-Generation Forms & Shopping cart process (where relevant).
Typically audits include the following:
- General Brand Marketing.
- What kind of first impression does your website give?
- How does it perform in terms of communication, overall feel, trustworthiness and professionalism?
- Are the brands' USPs communicated clearly and effectively?
- Navigation & ease of information retrieval.
We will provide page design recommendations including call to actionCall to Action: An object on a page such as a button or graphic that demands the user to take an action.. NB we provide actual designs. - Persona Creation.
To identify key visitor types and develop typical personas. Personas are 'fictional' profiles of typical target customers for your business. - Persuasive Momentum.
Does your site give visitors enough confidence to maintain their journey towards an end goal? - Checkout Process (Where relevant).
Is there an excessively high abandonment rate and if so, why? - Copywriting.

Each conversion audit is bespoke to suit client needs and involves five main stages:
- Agree test scope.
Conversion audits can be performed across the entire site or focused on specific subsections or tasks such as quote request forms, checkout processes or specific landing pages. - Preparatory analysis and ‘Persona’ building.
Prior to completing our audits we gather key data from clients to ensure we have sufficient background information to cover traffic, customer demographic and profiling. We use this data to build personas of typical customer targets. This is a crucial step in the Push conversion process that delivers improvements in conversion rates. In some cases, we may recommend a detailed Analytics Audit of your site. - Scenario testing.
The main component of our conversion audit is focused on scenario testing. - User tests.
In many cases, the next step is to conduct usability tests with people who are representative of your target customer groups. - Provide summary report and recommendations.
Our summary report provides clear guidelines and prioritises the actions that will give you the desired improvement in conversion. It includes the following:- Executive summary – outlining the major problems found, as well as feedback on what your website does well.
- Conversion and usability evaluation - The performance of your website in each category is described comprehensively.
- Detailed action plan – We outline both quick wins and longer term priorities. Where appropriate we project the value to your business in implementing the actions we suggest.
- Design suggestions – We provide design suggestions to help you speed up the implantation of our conversion recommendations.
